چکیده
In Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region, geophysical, meteorological hydrological disasters are increasing every year. With significantly limited resources, these countries naturally forced to absorb lessons from disasters. One of fundamental activities during this learning task remains need standardize forensic reporting process. Like all academic disciplines, engineering is exceptional in its application field. This feature makes it a unique input investigation environmental catastrophes. Based on concepts investigation, ten principles for properly conducting hydrology studies proposed. The proposed are: (i) Principle use, (ii) production, (iii) principle exchange, (iv) recognition, (v) correspondence, (vi) reconstruction, (vii) probability, (viii) uncertainty, (ix) certainty, (x) conclusion principle. A hypothetical case urban infrastructure failure used explain, detail, each principles. paper proposes methodology be considered as reference point analysis at LAC region.

متن کاملMicroscopy of Feathers: A Practical Guide for Forensic Feather Identification1
The identification of bird species from feather fragments is useful in many disciplines, including forensic science. Feather evidence can be helpful to criminal investigations in demonstrating physical contact between clothing manufactured with down feathers, or it may provide specific links to the crime scene by identifying the species or group of birds from which the feather evidence came. Th...
متن کاملWorking memory span tasks: A methodological review and user's guide.
Working memory (WM) span tasks-and in particular, counting span, operation span, and reading span tasks-are widely used measures of WM capacity. Despite their popularity, however, there has never been a comprehensive analysis of the merits of WM span tasks as measurement tools. Here, we review the genesis of these tasks and discuss how and why they came to be so influential. In so doing, we add...
